Dallas Animal Services strives to serve the greater Dallas community through education and direct engagement at the shelter and at community events.
Corporate & Civic Group Service Days
Large corporate and civic groups (up to 30 persons) can host their service or teambuilding days with Dallas Animal Services. We welcome groups that are seeking a fun, empowering way to heighten social interaction among our shelter pets and their teams. Groups who have chosen to join us have been AT&T, Dallas Bar Association, McAfee-Intel, Visier, Dallas Pets Alive, Gay for Good, KWA Construction, Southern Methodist University, University of Texas at Dallas, American Airlines, Banfield Pet Hospital, DFW Meetup.com groups and many more. If you would like to request a corporate or civic group service day experience from Dallas Animal Services, please email us here.
This is Dallas Animal Services’ outreach program to help pet owners keep their pets in their homes while also extending the reach of animal services, resource, and information in under-served areas. Volunteers familiar with the Pets For Life model in community activism and engagement can specifically request to canvas neighborhoods with animal care messaging and resources. Those interested can contact the coordinator here.
Groups of 3 or more who are interested in learning more about the shelter from a Dallas Animal Services ambassador can schedule a tour of the facility.
